All the banks in India need new advance kind of strategies to attract depositors despite the current level of low-cost deposits being comfortable. CASA deposits, which were 41% of total deposits, have seen a decrease from 45% in previous years. This research work is a Proposal for conversion of State Bank of India (SBI) into “SBI+” : by launching a new kind of bank “SBI+” bank, as a Major Reform of the present SBI, for offering huge new type of benefits to the customers with three(3) new unique strategies, first time in India. In this Proposal let me introduce a new type of bank of very new characteristics called by „SBI+‟ Bank. „SBI+‟ Bank is not just like the existing banks (RBI approved) but it is much more. Also „SBI+‟ Bank is not like any existing Life Insurance company, but it is much more in a new direction. It has huge scope to serve the citizens of India in various directions, unlike any of the existing banks in the country. The most important objective is to insure all the customer of „SBI+‟ Bank compulsorily, without asking for any premium. All the customers will enjoy „SBI+‟ Banking operations with very high satisfaction. There are six(6) Sections in this article, introducing three beautiful and very attractive „SBI+‟ Banking facilities which will provide a lot of benefits to the customers unlike the customers of nationalized banks in India and unlike the customers of any Life Insurance company. The tax exemption norms is also stated for each cases. The most attractive point of „SBI+‟ Banking system is that one customer enjoys variable insurance according to his balance in the account (or Virtual Account). Besides that, every customer of „SBI+‟ Bank will remain life-insured for life time automatically, if the account is not closed by him. All operations in „SBI+‟ Bank will be done by an excellent software called by TIO-Software of „SBI+‟ Bank, and this software takes care of all functions of „SBI+‟ Bank at real instant of time. If balance is more, than the insured
amount will become automatically more instantly by the TIO-Software; and if balance is less, than the insured amount will be made automatically less instantly by the TIO-Software. TIO Table is the key database for TIO-Software. By the term „insurance‟ in „SBI+‟ Bank here in this Proposal, it is always meant “life insurance” only. Considering the very unique facilities of „SBI+‟ Bank for the customers by three new kind of strategies : (i) launching a very new dynamic card called by LC Card and (ii) launching with “Automatic LifeInsurance for all Customers by default” and (iii) launching of a new kind of powerful and very useful instrument SD , the „SBI+‟ Bank can become the super best bank, leading bank and most attractive bank in India within a period of 10 years. The LC Card is first time to be launched in the country, for huge benefit of each and every customer. This proposal does also hold good for all other banks in India. The proposed SBI+ Bank will work along with SBI Bank inside the same building, and customers will have choice to use any one or both, according to their convenience and benefits.
